AI freight dispatch software that builds, assigns, and tracks every load
Dispatchers lose hours a day retyping rate confirmations, phoning drivers for updates, and juggling hours of service by hand. AI TMS is automated trucking dispatch software that drafts loads from your inbox, recommends the right driver and truck, and keeps the load moving with automated check-calls and geofence status updates.
AI reads emailed rate confirmations and drafts complete loads with stops, rates, and references.
Smart assignment
Recommendations for driver, truck, and route that account for HOS, location, and equipment.
Multi-leg & intermodal
Split trips into legs across truck, rail, ocean, and drayage with per-leg milestones.
Automated check-calls
Drivers get location and ETA texts on a cadence; replies log to the load and no-replies escalate.
Geofence auto-status
Arrival and departure at pickup and delivery advance the load and notify the customer.
Truck-legal routing
Routing and live ETAs designed for commercial vehicles, not passenger cars.
From inbox to dispatched in a few clicks
When a broker or shipper emails a rate confirmation, the AI extracts the customer, pickup and delivery stops, appointment windows, rate, accessorials, and reference numbers, then drafts the load for a dispatcher to review. Nothing is booked until a person approves it.
Matching the load to a customer record, de-duplicating references, and flagging missing fields happen automatically, so dispatchers spend their time on decisions rather than data entry.
Drafts loads from PDF and email rate confirmations
Matches customers, facilities, and references automatically
Queues every draft for human approval before it is booked
Assign the right driver the first time
For each load, the platform ranks available drivers and trucks using current position, remaining hours of service, equipment type, and upcoming commitments. A driver who is about to run out of hours is blocked from new assignments before a violation can happen.
Dispatchers keep the final say. Recommendations are explained, can be overridden, and every assignment is recorded on the load timeline.
Keep loads on time without phone tag
Once a load is moving, automated check-calls text the driver for location and ETA updates, geofences advance the status when the truck arrives and departs, and customers are notified automatically. Exceptions — late arrivals, long detention, a driver who stops replying — are surfaced to the dispatcher who owns the load.
Detention timers that can add accessorials and notify the customer
Alerts for ETA slip, overspeed, offline devices, and HOS risk
Live map of every load across ELD, GPS, dashcam, and driver-app sources
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does AI freight dispatch software do?
+
It automates the repetitive parts of dispatch: creating loads from rate confirmations, recommending driver and truck assignments, sending check-calls, and updating load status from GPS geofences. Dispatchers review and approve, rather than type and chase.
Will the AI book loads without my approval?
+
No. Drafted loads and recommended assignments wait for a dispatcher. You choose which automations run on their own, per account.
Does it handle multi-stop and intermodal loads?
+
Yes. Loads can be split into legs across truck, rail, ocean, and drayage, each with its own milestones and tracking.
Can drivers update loads from their phone?
+
Yes. The driver mobile app shows assigned loads and stops, captures BOLs and PODs with the camera, and sends one-tap status updates.
